Join us on Dec. 24, 1:30 p.m. for the Blessing and Lighting of the Luminaria.
In this Christmas Eve tradition at the Franciscan Monastery, the friars will pray over, then sprinkle the luminaria candles with holy water. Afterward, everyone present can help light the 1,000 candles!
The candles will remain lit through New Year’s Eve as part of the Seven Nights of Lights. We’ll pray for the individuals whose names are on the luminarias during the Rosary at 11:45 a.m. from Dec. 26-Dec. 31.
